UPDATED: Highway 395 North closed from Ukiah to Nye Junction

- The Beech Creek Fire burns on the east side of Highway 395 North near milepost 106B on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022. The fire was zero percent contained on Tuesday.
Highway 395 from Nye Junction, at milepost 23, to the Ukiah turnoff, at milepost 50, is being closed due to the outbreak of three fires in Umatilla County, the Grant County Emergency Management Office announced Wednesday evening, July 17.
A detour is in place at Long Creek, for local traffic only.
The office is advising motorists to visit TripCheck.com for the latest information on road closures before traveling north of Mt. Vernon on Highway 395.
