Misdemeanor offenses: Wyatt Christopher Nolan, 19, of Mt. Vernon, pleaded guilty to one count each of illegal take or possession of a buck deer, waste of a game mammal and third-degree criminal mischief. Additional counts of hunting by a prohibited method and harassing wildlife were dismissed. Nolan was sentenced to 18 months of probation and 30 hours of community service. He was also fined $500, ordered to pay $1,000 to the state police anti-poaching program and directed to pay $500 in restitution to the Grant County Fairgrounds. In addition, his hunting privileges were suspended for three years and he was ordered to complete a hunter education class.
