Javier and Marisal Garcia, of Canyon City, became parents of a son, Javier Sebastian Garcia, born at 2:55 a.m. June 5, 2005, at Blue Mountain Hospital.

Javier weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 22 inches.

Paternal grandparents are Jesus and Guadalupe Garcia of Nyssa.

Maternal grandparents are Manuel J. Ramos of Vancouver, Wash.; and Deborah Ramos of Portland.

Javier joins brother Jose Angel Garcia, seven, and sister Izabella Garcia, four.
