Clay pigeon shoot

A fundraiser for the Monument volunteer ambulance service, which is raising money to purchase a “stair chair” to help transport patients up and down stairs. The shooting competition starts at 11 a.m. with a dessert auction beginning at 1 p.m. A lunch of pulled pork sliders, coleslaw and beans will be available for purchase. Shotgun shooting series

• 3 p.m., Brad and Julie Smith’s B Bar J Ranch, Highway 402, milepost 9, Monument

Second in a four-part shooting competition. First prize is a Savage HMR 17 rifle with scope, second prize is $250 and third is $150. Buy-in is $100. Participants compete to see who can hit the most clay pigeons over four rounds of 25 shots each. Contestants must bring their own shotgun and ammunition and must be present at three of the four shoots to win. The remaining shoots will take place on March 9 and April 13. Family Game Night

Random Acts of Kindness Day Brew Haha

A benefit dinner and auction sponsored by the Blue Mountain Healthcare Foundation, which will use the money to perform random acts of kindness throughout Grant County in 2024. Tickets are $50 and include a dinner of pork ribs by Lenny Dowdy and sides by the Snaffle Bit Dinner House, with one beer or cocktail and door prize tickets. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at bluemountainhospital.org/fundraiser or at the door.

The 2024 Grant County Fair and Rodeo Court of Queen Lavina Kiser and Princess Dalli Jordan will be crowned at this event. There will also be a live and silent auction, with proceeds going to support travel and other expenses for the court.
