Health Tip: Cook with canola and other healthy oils

The best way to avoid heart disease is to eliminate saturated fats and trans fats from your diet. Steer clear of fried foods and commercial baked goods, which are high in trans fats. Prepare your meals from scratch, using healthy ingredients. Cook with canola, olive or other monounsaturated or polyunsaturated oils. Use fresh vegetables, fruits and whole grains, and substitute fish for red meat.
