Christian Linn Joseph Cook, age not listed, of John Day, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor committed on Feb. 7, and entered a diversion agreement. A second misdemeanor count of harassment was dismissed. During the 180-day diversion period, Cook must perform 40 hours of community service, pay a $100 fee plus court costs, undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete all recommended treatment, complete an anger management program, refrain from using intoxicants and obey all laws. If Cook fulfills the terms of the agreement, the disorderly conduct charge will be dismissed.
Steven Matthew Warrington, no age listed, of Mount Vernon, was found in contempt of court in connection with an earlier conviction for criminal driving while suspended or revoked and was sentenced to 100 days in jail.
Katherine Jean Kuhl, no age listed, of John Day, was found in contempt of court in connection with an earlier conviction for menacing and was placed on bench probation for one year. She was also ordered to perform 30 hours of community service, have no contact with the victim, obtain a mental health evaluation and engage in recommended treatment.
