JD Senior Center marks 30 years

JOHN DAY – The John Day Senior Center is celebrating 30 years of service to the community and opens its doors for a Harvest Dinner 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1.

During the evening, many local service volunteers will be honored including: John Day and Canyon City fire departments, John Day Police, Grant County Sheriff’s Posse, John Day Ambulance and emergency medical technicians.

Entertainment will be provided. Meal cost for adults is $8; youth 6-12, $5. The John Day Senior Center is located at 142 N.E. Dayton Street.
