John Day Taco Bell manager receives Golden Bell Award

- Julie Combs won a prestigious Golden Bell Award for her outstanding performance at John Day's Taco Bell.
JOHN DAY – The Golden Bell Award was presented recently to Julie Combs, manager of Star Mart Taco Bell on West Highway 26, and recognized her as an outstanding achiever who reached new levels of customer satisfaction and outstanding commitment to operational excellence at the Taco Bell restaurant located in Jackson Oil’s Star Mart.
Combs, who has been at the Taco Bell for seven years, is to be commended. The John Day Taco Bell restaurant was chosen from more than 6,000 Taco Bell restaurants nationwide, and Combs is one of the top 50 restaurant general managers to be awarded.
The sixth annual Golden Bell Award Program emphasizes that the day-to-day restaurant operations and customer service are critical cornerstones to the success of the business. All franchise, license and company-owned restaurants that meet the program’s stringent criteria are certified as Golden Bell Restaurants. The top 225 restaurants emerging out of the process achieved top honors with the Top 50 earning Golden Bell’s “Best of the Best” and the next 175 earning “Champions Club” status.
