Jamie Rix and Donald Teel of Canyon City announce the birth of their son, Maison Jacob Teel on June 11, 2008, at Blue Mountain Hospital in John Day. He weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce and was 19 1/4 inches long.

Grandparents are Jim and Barbara Bryant of Prairie City, Jim and Larene Rix of Mt. Vernon, and Mike Teel. Great-grandparents are Trudy Teel, Catherine Rix, and Arlie and Lola Parmentier.
