Over two thousand people visit SolWest Renewable Energy Fair each year to learn about and purchase complete solar-electric power systems, solar hot water systems, off-grid water pumps, hydro systems suitable for small springs or large streams, solar roofing and home plans, home-scale wind generators, efficient lighting and appliances, books and magazines, biodiesel how-to, and much more.
SolWest Renewable Energy Fair bring experts from all over the West to offer fifty workshops for all ages and levels of expertise (free with fair admission). Workshops on Solar Cooking, Solar Water Pumping, Planning and Installing a Renewable Energy System, and Building with Natural Materials will keep you coming back for more! Gates are open Friday from 1-7 p.m.; Saturday (family day) 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission for adults is $5 daily and $10 for the weekend; juniors 13-17 are $2 daily and $4 for the weekend; and family prices are $10 daily and $20 for the weekend.
