Tyler Lake and Michelle Modey

Gordon and Sherrie Modey of Burns announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Mae Modey, to Tyler Jacob Lake of Medford.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Jim and Carol Modey of Burns, and Smokey and Loretta Overton of Mt. Vernon. She graduated from Western Oregon University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. She is employed as the office manager with Belle Fiore Winery in Ashland.

The prospective groom is the son of Glen and Marci Lake of Medford, and the grandson of Larry and Beverly Keith of Medford, Harry Lake of Montague, Calif., and Bonnie Lake of Medford. He graduated from Corban University with a bachelor’s degree in business management, and works as project manager for Sharefaith in Medford.

The couple plan a Sept. 12 wedding in Medford.
