Births: Kasidy Jay O'Brien Mead

Jan and Mytchell Mead of John Day announce the birth of their son, Kasidy Jay OBrien Mead, at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Blue Mountain Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19 inches long. He joins sister, Rhea, age 7.

Grandparents are Kathy and Robert Reed of Blue Springs, Mo., and the recently deceased Glynette Mead of Ft. Collins, Colo.
