The laboratory services outpatients, inpatients, nursing home, assisted living, home health and hospice patients. Diagnostic help to the physician is our main function in the areas of hematology, chemistry, coagulation, microbiology, body fluid analysis and blood bank. Equipment is up to date and includes a Dimension Expand Chemistry, Sysmex coagulation, ABX Pentra Hematology and Fingerstick pro-time machine, and BIOMIC Microbiology System. In 2010, the lab performed 55,000 billable tests. Full-time techs include Maryann Blem, lab manager, Andy Carroll and Rob Durkee. Full-time phlebotomist is Katie Hensley. Diane Higbie is our casual tech.
