Oregon State saw 4 players earn all-league honors for 1st time since 1986-87 season.

Sydney Wiese, Gabriella Hanson, Ruth Hamblin and Jamie Weisner all received All-Pac-12 honors Tuesday morning.

It was the first time since the 1986-87 season that four Beavers have been given all-league honors.

Wiese — a freshman point guard — highlights Oregon State’s (21-0, 13-5 Pac-12) selections earning All-Pac-12 and All-Freshman honors. She is the first OSU freshman since Tanja Kostic in 1993 to make an All-Pac-12 team and is one of only two first-year players to earn a spot this season.

Wiese has connected on 94 3-pointers this season, already an Oregon State single-season record and third-most for a season in Pac-12 history. Shooting 44.1 percent from behind the arc, Wiese is ninth in the nation in 3-point percentage as well.

Sophomore center Ruth Hamblin was named both an All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and to the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team. Her 115 blocks this season are second in the NCAA, and her average of 3.83 per game is fourth in the country.

The 115 blocks are also tied for an OSU single-season record, and her 147 career blocks are already sixth in school history. She needs only five more to break the conference record for blocks in a season.

Sophomore guard Jamie Weisner, meanwhile, was named a Pac-12 Honorable Mention for the second consecutive year. Despite missing the past nine games with a hand injury, Weisner leads OSU in scoring with 13.8 points per game and also averages 5.6 rebounds.

Hanson earned a place on the Pac-12 All-Freshman Honorable Mention team as Oregon State’s first player off the bench this season. She shoots 44.3 percent from 3-point range and has scored in double figures in eight of her last 10 games.

The Beavers have a first-round bye in the Pac-12 Tournament and will play the winner of Washington and Utah Friday at 8:30 p.m. in Seattle.
