NORTH POWDER With a current snow base of 80 inches, it still could be a good time to check out the slopes at Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort.

The ski area has several activities coming up through the month of March, including:

Saturday, March 8: Snow Blast 2014 Day-long activities include outdoor barbecue and beer garden, potato sack races, bonfire, music by Bag of Hammers at 4 p.m., and fireworks at dark.

Saturday, March 15: Slopestyle Showdown.

Sunday, March 16: Fifth annual Winter Triathlon 3K run, 3K bike and 3K ski starting at 10 a.m.

Wednesday-Friday, March 26-28: Spring break camp for youth ages 7-18. Registration deadline is March 21.

Saturday, March 29: Music by The Channel Cats at 3 p.m.
