To the Editor:

Trespassing and illegal hunting on private land is unacceptable under any circumstances. The government has taken more than enough land off our tax rolls and made it available to hunters over the years. It is nice to see our tax dollars being spent on something that benefits private property owners for a change. Poaching can be dangerous and infringes on the rights of private landowners. Poaching in Fox is a bad idea. If you don’t believe me, you can ask Larry Means and Richard Beemer of Eugene who were accused of hunting on the enclosed land of another in connection with a recent elk shooting on my ranch.
