JOHN DAY – As parades go, this one rates high marks for cuteness and charm.
The 2014 KJDY/Dairy Queen Kids Parade, held in John Day last Friday, Aug. 8, drew more than 40 children. Most of the entries celebrated the Grant County Fair theme, “Gold Pans and Cattle Brands.”
Organizers also report that this year saw a large number of pony entries.
