Tye and Jenny Rookstool of John Day announce the birth of their son, Tye Brogan Rookstool, at 1:57 p.m., March 13, 2010, at Blue Mountain Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. He joins older sibling Ritter, age 14 months.

Grandparents are Rod Rookstool of John Day, Becky Presley of Prineville, and Dan and Nancy Mullin of John Day. Great-grandparents are Howard and Afton Bloxham of John Day; Steve and Carolyn Mullin of Prairie City, Vivian Rookstool of Prairie City, and Peggy Waterson of Crescent.
