Keith and Alaina DeHart of Prairie City announce the birth of a daughter, Kaitlyn Bailey DeHart, on Dec. 17 at Blue Mountain Hospital. She weighed 9 pounds and was 22-1/4 inches long at birth.

Grandparents are Craig and Karen DeHart of Hood River and Jeffery and Rhonda Hancock of Lakeview. Great-grandparents are Stan and Charlotte DeHart and Mike and Taina Tyrrell of Hood River; Alice Hancock of Lakeview; Betty Gibbs of Morongo Valley, Calif.; and Bill Orr of Morongo Valley. Gladys Grammer of Albany is the great-great-grandmother.
