The team went beyond the 60 points required to move on to state competition, earning an overall score of 65.06.
Dancing to “Shatter Me” by Lindsey Stirling and Lizzy Hale, the group received a 75 in choreography for their highest score from the judges and a 58 in maneuvering for their lowest score.
“This performance was a great starting point for us and gives us lots of room to increase our scores at the upcoming competitions,” said head coach Shannon Adair. “Because we are starting off with a high score in choreography, we can improve in technique and overall effect (scoring categories) and gain ground in our average score.”

This will be the team’s final performance until their March 12 Spring Showcase.
“This is a high energy and physically demanding routine that is fun to watch and challenging for our dancers,” Adair said.
