In the Military: Nick Holliday

NEW DELHI, India – Nick Holliday, a 2000 Grant Union graduate, graduated in the top 5 percent of his class in the Marine Security Guard School. He shot a perfect score on the CIA/FBI qualifying range to receive the coveted Top Gun award.

He is now a sergeant detached to the Embassy in New Delhi, India. Pictured here with Secretary of State, Colin Powell, who was in India for three days, Holliday (on the front right of Powell) stood detail at his hotel. Holliday stated, “Don’t worry though, even though the U.S. government trusts me to guard one of the most important men in the world, my mother will still give me 20 questions when I ask to borrow her car when I come home on leave.”
