Grant County Chamber installs officers

- The Grant County Chamber of Commerce held an officer installation ceremony at the John Day Elks Lodge on Oct. 23, 2024. JOHN DAY — Taci Philbrook was formally installed as president of the Grant County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors during a ceremony on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the John Day Elks Club.
About 125 people attended the Chamber’s annual officer installation and member appreciation event. Attendees dined on salmon and tri-tip, bid on silent auction and raffle items and listened to a variety of speakers.
Philbrook, the administrative assistant and graphic designer for Come Ride With Us Motorcycle Maps, was sworn in as the business group’s top officer. She was joined by President-Elect Sherrie Rininger, owner of Etc. boutique, and Vice President Kelly Workman, who works in sales for Elkhorn Media Group’s KJDY Radio.
