The notice covers the area south of Forest Road 3800, north of Forest Road 58, east of South Fork Road and west to the Crook County line.

The notice was issued the evening of Friday, Aug. 2, by the Grant County Emergency Management Office.

Under a Level 1 evacuation notice, residents should be aware of the danger that exists in their area, monitor emergency services websites and local media outlets for information. This is the time for preparation and precautionary movement of persons with special needs, mobile property and (under certain circumstances) pets and livestock.
