On Friday, the final day, the group separated into two teams for a golf scramble to test the skills they had learned.

“The coaches help me do everything,” he said, adding he had improved his swing this year. “It was just a lot of fun to come out and play.”
Rowdy Wilson said he would have never tried golf, but his grandfather encouraged him.
“I didn’t think it would be as fun as it was, and my favorite thing was going around the course and hitting holes,” he said.
Garrett Lenz, who will be a senior at Grant Union Junior-Senior High School this fall, was assisting coach Lundbom.
“I like being out here golfing,” he said. “It’s all for the kids. I thank Ron for having me out to help.”
Lundbom said he was proud of each of the golfers.
“This is probably the most accomplished set of junior golfers I’ve had,” he said. “They’ve really made progress in all aspects of the game. I hope they keep it up.”
